You can’t really stereotype tea drinkers, but chances are that if you love a good loose leaf brew at the end of the day you might also be a fan of working on a fun jigsaw puzzle or two! Luckily, we’ve got some really fun teaware that will help you combine your love of tea and games!
Our teapot and teacup puzzles are a fun diversion that also makes for a great gift. You can set them on your coffee table, desk or bookshelf to show off your love of tea. They also make for great gifts for older kids who are practicing spatial skills. If you suspect they might get overwhelmed or frustrated, don’t worry, instructions are included.
If you consider yourself to be somewhat of a puzzle master, you may not have too much trouble assembling these. If that’s the case, you might be ready for a different kind of test. Think you can take on the Tea Smith Puzzle Challenge? Try these modifications to test your true puzzle prowess!
The Blind Brewer
Here’s a challenge: try to solve the puzzle blindfolded! Tie a piece of cloth around your head (not too tightly!) to turn this simple puzzle into a real doozy. How long will it take you to complete the puzzle without being able to see the pieces? This is a challenge that puts your tactile skills to the test. Having trouble? Assemble the puzzle without a blindfold, then try it again with it on.
Time Trial
Steep yourself in the inner workings of both of these puzzles and then see how fast you can put it together. How many times can you do it before the water you’re boiling for your next cup makes the kettle sing? Compete against friends or family and take turns timing one another.
Through Looking Glass Challenge
Alice stepped through the looking glass for her own wild tea party, and now you can do something similar! Using a mirror, angle yourself and the puzzle so that all you can see are it and your hands in the reflection. Now, try solving it without looking away from the mirror.
