One of our first commemorative blends was launched in January and featured Lapsang Souchong. Why this particular tea? Because it holds a special place in our history! When we first opened our doors, one of the very first customers walked in and asked for it. At the time, we weren’t even sure if we would include it on our menu, as its bold, smoky profile—achieved by smoking the leaves over a pine fire—makes it one of the most distinctive teas in the world. But we believe in giving our customers what they want, and Lapsang Souchong has been part of our offerings ever since.
As part of our anniversary celebration, we’re excited to introduce The Tea Smith Caravan—a new blend that combines the bold smokiness of Lapsang Souchong with the smooth richness of Royal Yunnan. This tea is a must-try for anyone who loves a deep, complex cup with a touch of history infused in every sip.
And just for fun, we’re also crafting a Smoky Old Fashioned blend! Inspired by the classic cocktail, this tea promises a bold, smoky, and slightly sweet flavor experience that you won’t want to miss.
