Apple Basil Grog Cocktail or Mocktail Recipe

This delightfully bright apple and cinnamon mocktail features our Applejack Festival Green and Black Tea blend.

Cocktail:

  • 2oz Apple Jack Festival Concentrate
  • 2oz Spiced Rum
  • 3/4oz Simple Syrup
  • 3/4oz Lemon Juice
  • Basil sprig with 4-6 leaves (Thai basil is amazing if you can get it!)
  • Preserved apple slice, cinnamon stick, or basil top for garnish

Slap basil hard to release oils and combine in bar shaker with ice, tea concentrate, simple syrup, & lemon juice. Shake and pour into a coupe glass and garnish with preserved apple slice and/or cinnamon stick

Mocktail:

  • 3oz Apple Jack Festival Concentrate
  • 1 oz Simple Syrup
  • 1 oz Lemon Juice
  • Basil sprig with 4-6 leaves (Thai basil is amazing if you can get it!)
  • Preserved apple slice, cinnamon stick, or basil top for garnish

Apple Jack Festival Concentrate
Use 16g Apple Jack Festival loose tea & 16oz of boiling filtered water, and let steep, covered 20-30 minutes, strain tea and chill.
