Here are a few more amazing tea houses from three very different places.

Tea House by A1 Architects
There is something immediately calming about the interior of this round little tea house from Prague which was created by David MaÅ¡tálka from A1 Architects and sculptor Vojtech Bilisic. When you’re inside, it feels like you could be a tea leaf yourself, sitting in your own earthenware cup. The round shape of the building encourages guests to sit all around the central hearth, while a roof made of rice paper lets just enough natural light in to give everything a warm hue. The shelf on the wall made from a tree branch brings a little bit of the outdoors inside.

Tea House by Archi Union Architects
This particular buildinglooks like it belongs to a reclusive billionaire with a taste for
modern architecture. But no, it’s not Bruce Wayne’s manor you’re looking at. This tea house is actually an extension of an office in Shanghai, China. Created by Archi- Union, it was constructed from pieces of an old warehouse that used to occupy the space. With its severe angles and sloping interior walls, it plays with space in some interesting ways. Large glass windows in the front open up the space to the gardens outside. Nature is never too far away though, with a tree that grows straight through the building’s second floor!

The Beehive Tea Room
The Beehive Tea Room in Salt Lake City Utah isn’t necessarily notable for its design or
architectural approach. Instead, it’s the decor that really makes it stand out. It has a delightfully dated appeal, with its eclectic selection of vintage furniture, lamps and teaware. It combines a variety of influences, and even if the chairs don’t match it all manages to come together in a harmonious way– almost like you’re sipping tea in a quirky old antique shop! The murals on the wall are really beautiful and add to its unique charm.
